Subcontract Administrator

Subcontract Administrator (Supply Chain/Procurement): End-to-end management of assigned suppliers for the Space Division, converting demand signals into compliant purchase orders and coordinating with Operations to support production needs with an accent on supplier performance, risk mitigation, and corrective actions. Focus on Lean/Six Sigma problem-solving, FAR/DFARS compliance, and cross-functional root-cause investigations to drive continuous supplier improvement.

Location: Niagara Falls, NY (Hybrid)

Salary: $80,000.00–$110,000.00 annually

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end supplier relationships, including daily/weekly supplier surveillance, monitoring, and performance development.
• Convert demand signals into compliant purchase orders in line with contractual terms and hirify.global systems/processes.
• Coordinate with Operations (Manufacturing, A&T, Planning) on buffer strategies, forecast validation, and procurement methods.
• Evaluate supplier performance, identify/mitigate risks, and lead supplier recovery and improvement activities.
• Drive cross-functional root cause investigations and corrective actions to achieve continuous supplier improvement.
• Support supplier selection, negotiation, and supplier development; proactively address operational issues to ensure continuity of supply (with ~20% travel).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience managing and developing supplier/customer relationships and procurement processes.
• Experience performing Lean/Six Sigma problem-solving analysis.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS.
• Must pass a full physical including bloodwork and Pulmonary Function testing.
