What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of backend data and analytics platforms, including data services, metrics, and ETL pipelines.
• Hire, develop, and coach engineers through consistent feedback and career support.
• Improve team processes to accelerate delivery and maintain high-quality execution.
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to shape the technical roadmap for analytics applications.
• Set technical direction and quality standards for engineering craftsmanship, observability, and performance.
• Collaborate with data science, product, and business leadership to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience using object-oriented languages such as Go, Java, or C#.
• 2+ years of experience leading engineers and providing technical direction.
• Experience with data platforms and storage (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL/Aurora, Databricks, or DynamoDB) and AWS tooling.
• Experience architecting and scaling resilient backend services using agile practices.
• Must be based in the United States.
