System Integration Technician

Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year

What you will do

• Assemble equipment using manufacturing documentation and engineering specifications.
• Install, configure, and test equipment and components using appropriate tools.
• Perform hardware inspection and follow security inspection procedures.
• Integrate hardware into test stands and production server cabinets; identify errors at different stages.
• Package and ship tested and/or integrated equipment; coordinate with material handlers for pickup and delivery.
• Document process and procedures and escalate issues to the Facility Manager as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience preferred with direct experience managing servers and/or data centers.
• Familiarity with copper and optical cabling, and understanding of power cabling.
• Familiarity with command line interfaces.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lb.
• Knowledge of server, storage, and internet technologies.
• Ability to communicate technical details clearly in writing and verbally and work independently while meeting deadlines.
