Salary: $65,000 – $83,000

What you will do

• Maintain data center operations to ensure high service availability and reliability.
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and perform physical repairs.
• Perform root cause analysis for both hardware and software failures.
• Develop scripts using Python and Bash to update server and networking hardware.
• Assemble, install, and maintain equipment and manage inventory.
• Respond to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes during on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with computer networking, specifically Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS.
• Ability to regularly transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a flexible 24/7 environment, including rotating on-call shifts.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working specifically within data center environments.
• Strong skills in Python or Bash scripting.
