What you will do

• Build and support calibration systems for autonomous driving sensors across factory, service, and online environments.
• Develop scalable software architecture to meet production capacity and maintenance requirements.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team through the full product life-cycle.
• Collaborate with hardware, perception, and systems teams to resolve complex integration challenges.
• Optimize calibration efficiency and costs for manufacturing and service operations.
• Drive the development of next-gen auto-calibration systems for online sensor correction.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Foster City, CA.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or ADAS.
• Deep technical knowledge of intrinsic and extrinsic calibration for multi-modal sensor suites.
• Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python, with a solid foundation in 3D geometry and optimization.

Nice to have

• PhD in AI, computer vision, or robotics.
• 3+ years of experience working at a car manufacturer OEM or Tier one supplier.
