Salary: $147,760 - $221,640

What you will do

• Lead the development and delivery of engine system technologies aligned with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Translate multi-generation product plans into clear, prioritized engineering activities.
• Guide technical decision-making, balancing risk, performance, cost, and return on investment.
• Act as a technical role model, promoting high-quality engineering delivery and enterprise strategy alignment.
• Monitor industry and regulatory developments to inform technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Coach and develop an engineering team to build deep technical capability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (Visa sponsorship is NOT available).
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Sanford, NC.
• Proven experience in leading engine system design, development, and validation.
• Strong background in strategic planning, decision-making, and managing complex engineering projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams and cultures.

Nice to have

• Experience in emission performance and architecture space.
• Technical validation experience (DFMEA, DOE).
• Data analytics proficiency (Power BI, Tableau).
