Senior Product Owner (AI/Legal Tech): Own and evolve hirify.global’s Lito GenAI platform from a chat-based agent into a hirify.global-wide platform by translating product strategy into sprint-ready user stories and acceptance criteria with an accent on agile delivery, backlog prioritization, and quality-focused decision-making. Focus on shipping LLM-powered features end-to-end while coordinating dependencies, validating outcomes against user expectations, and aligning engineering execution with the platform roadmap.

Location: Denver, CO (hybrid) — candidates should reside within reasonable commuting distance and be on-site at least three days per week.

What you will do

• Own and maintain a well-prioritized product backlog reflecting business value, user needs, and technical dependencies.
• Translate product strategy and roadmap into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint-ready requirements.
• Partner with Product Managers to keep backlog items aligned with the broader Lito platform vision and roadmap.
• Act as the day-to-day decision-maker for engineering and design during development, providing timely clarification and choices.
• Facilitate sprint ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives) and validate/accept completed work against acceptance criteria.
• Gather stakeholder input, manage dependencies/risks/blockers, coordinate UX/design readiness, and support go-to-market with feature context.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a closely related role in an agile software development environment.
• Proven ability to write high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for complex software products.
• Strong agile knowledge (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working within structured sprint cycles.
• Familiarity with generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies; experience on AI-powered products is strongly preferred.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and make confident backlog decisions in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience with product/project tools such as Jira and Confluence (or similar).

Nice to have

• Experience in the legal technology market or a closely related professional services industry.
• Experience working within a Microsoft 365 / Azure ecosystem.
