What you will do

• Define and execute the global data engineering strategy for customer-facing solutions.
• Lead and mentor a distributed team of managers and engineers.
• Partner with Product teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Establish and enforce data engineering guidelines, standards, and processes.
• Drive automation, quality, and performance across data pipelines and customer-facing systems.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance, security, and privacy requirements.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics delivery, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake and modern cloud platforms, specifically Azure.
• Strong proficiency with modern data stacks including dbt, Coalesce, Airflow, Fivetran, and Python.
• Proven track record of managing distributed teams across multiple geographies.
• Must be authorized to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
• Industry experience in gaming, digital entertainment, or iGaming is strongly preferred.
