What you will do
- Lead, train, and mentor a unionized workforce while managing performance expectations.
- Direct site maintenance plans and coordinate operational priorities across multiple locations.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and perform documented site inspections to enforce safety policies.
- Ensure all field activities comply with environmental permits and local regulations.
- Oversee the operational readiness of fleet equipment and coordinate maintenance repairs.
- Resolve abnormal operating conditions proactively to prevent escalation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4–6 years of experience in landscaping, industrial maintenance, or related technical disciplines.
- Proven track record in leading and coordinating a union workforce.
- Deep commitment to workplace safety and field-level hazard mitigation.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and industrial maintenance practices.
- Must be able to work onsite in Wheatfield, Indiana.
Nice to have
- Previous supervisory experience within a utility or large-scale infrastructure environment.
- Formal training or certification in maintenance management or industrial operations.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams across geographically dispersed sites.
