TL;DR
Director, Solutions Architecture: Customer-facing pre-sales leadership driving solution architecture alignment to business goals and consulting services with an accent on presales GTM strategy, technical win execution, and building/mentoring a geographically dispersed Solutions Architect team. Focus on translating complex system and solution architectures into customer outcomes, partnering with sales and delivery leaders, and leading presales innovation across tools, process, and reporting.
Location: Atlanta, GA, USA (based in Atlanta; travel up to 25%)

What you will do
- Direct and manage a team of geographically dispersed Solutions Architects.
- Partner with Sales leadership to develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies and drive technical wins.
- Align presales and professional services/delivery strategies by reviewing delivery metrics and approving services delivery proposals as needed.
- Lead account and opportunity leadership: ensure teams document detailed customer requirements and engage senior client stakeholders.
- Recruit, develop, and retain Solution Architect talent; create individual development plans and mentor team members.
- Lead presales innovation for relevant focus areas by mapping current state, gathering feedback, and driving improvements in processes, tools, and reporting.
Requirements
- 10+ years combined experience in presales, leadership, and/or management.
- Experience in at least one area: networking (LAN/WAN/SDN), security, mobility, data center (compute/storage/virtualization/data protection), cloud platforms, cloud management platforms, container platforms, unified communications, ServiceNow, IT consulting, or professional/managed services.
- Strong customer and vendor relationship skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to varied audiences.
- Proven knowledge of system and solution architectures and strong technical problem-solving/design ability.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, including ability to develop and grow teams.
- Ability to travel regionally (up to 25%) and be based in Atlanta, GA.
