Managing Director (Investment Banking): Leading buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements and driving business development for a middle-market investment banking practice with an accent on financial due diligence, strategic negotiation, and revenue growth. Focus on managing high-level client relationships, overseeing execution teams, and delivering complex financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Location: Must be based in the United States (New York, NY; Stamford, CT; Woodbridge, NJ; or Melville, NY). Role is 100% onsite.
Salary: $250,000 – $350,000

What you will do
- Execute buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, including financial and business due diligence.
- Drive business development by networking with prospects and converting them into long-term revenue-producing clients.
- Analyze historical and projected financial data to identify trends, risks, and working capital considerations.
- Manage and mentor execution teams, providing real-time feedback and guidance on transaction deliverables.
- Lead the negotiation of contracts and agreements while providing strategic insights to clients.
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of valuations and due diligence reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and an MBA are required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance.
- Active FINRA Series 63 and 7 or 79 licenses (or in active pursuance).
- Proven experience leading teams of VPs, associates, and analysts in an onsite environment.
- Ability to perform 100% of job duties in the office.
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills.
