TL;DR

Senior ServiceNow Developer (Public Trust): Designing, developing, and deploying ServiceNow solutions for federal government projects with an accent on platform architecture, workflow automation, and complex integrations. Focus on leading development teams, ensuring system security and scalability, and delivering high-quality applications within an Agile environment.

Location: Must be based in the United States (EST hours). U.S. citizenship is required for federal contract requirements and Public Trust clearance.

What you will do

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of ServiceNow applications including ITSM, ITOM, and HRSD.
  • Develop complex workflows, business rules, and automation scripts using JavaScript, GlideScript, and Flow Designer.
  • Create custom widgets and UI components for the Service Portal using AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.
  • Manage integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and MID Server.
  • Mentor and provide technical oversight to a team of developers to ensure efficient solution delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Active DHS Public Trust clearance or higher required.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • 9+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • Strong expertise in App Engine, Service Portal development, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

Nice to have

  • Experience with HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions.
  • Deep expertise in platform architecture and solution design.
  • Proficiency in designing complex integrations using Integration Hub.
