TL;DR
Senior Finance Analyst (Wholesale and Retail Property Finance): Analysing business performance, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across Wholesale, Retail Property, and Enabling Functions with an accent on variance analysis, financial insight, and stakeholder partnership. Focus on identifying commercial drivers, tracking product performance, improving forecasting accuracy, and presenting recommendations that support operational performance.
Location: Newbury, United Kingdom; hybrid work with office attendance 2–3 days per week and at least 8 days per month

What you will do
- Analyse Wholesale business performance, trends, risks, opportunities, and financial drivers.
- Prepare variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and targets.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning across Wholesale products and services.
- Track new products and initiatives against business cases and expected outcomes.
- Lead Retail Property cost reporting and month-end financial analysis.
- Partner with Retail, Commercial Finance, Property, Financial Control, Enabling Functions, and external partners to improve reporting, governance, and operational performance.
Requirements
- Fully or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant.
- Strong financial analysis, accounting, and reporting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, filters, and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, prioritisation, and independent delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Willingness to work across multiple business areas and adapt to changing priorities.
