What you will do
- Administer U.S. employment-based immigration programs including H-1B, L-1, E-3, PERM, I-140, and I-485 filings.
- Coordinate and process visa matters between HR, recruiting, and external immigration counsel.
- Evaluate non-routine and complex immigration scenarios to determine appropriate legal courses of action.
- Identify immigration compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies or process improvements.
- Support responses to complex Requests for Evidence (RFE) from USCIS through factual development and issue analysis.
- Maintain immigration-related systems and records to ensure audit readiness and generate program metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 3+ years of experience in legal operations for an immigration provider, law firm, or in-house department.
- Hands-on experience with work visas and permanent residency processes (PERM, green cards).
- Experience using case management software such as INSZoom.
- Must be able to work onsite in New York City, NY.
