Senior Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Hybrid workplace model with at least four full days per week in an hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Design and develop data and software solutions supporting investment decisions and the global trade life cycle.
• Build scalable, cloud-native applications and interfaces for systematic trading, trade management, and quantitative research.
• Develop tables, views, user-defined functions, stored procedures, and ETL workflows.
• Review code, design test cases, and build SDLC pipelines within an agile team.
• Lead the adoption of AI-driven automation, analytics, and decision-support capabilities in production systems.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, business analysts, architecture, infrastructure, and security teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data analytics, architecture, design, and development.
• Strong experience with Snowflake and ETL.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server or Oracle, including normalized tables, views, user-defined functions, and stored procedures.
• Working knowledge of Python and AWS.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work from the Atlanta office at least four days per week under the current workplace model.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with CRD or Portware applications.
• Experience in investments or asset management, including equities, fixed income, or alternatives.
• Knowledge of cloud engineering and cloud-native architecture.
