Senior Data Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake/Python): Designing and evolving scalable, cloud-native trading platforms for Systematic Trading Technology with an accent on ETL pipelines, data modeling, and cloud architecture. Focus on building AI-driven capabilities, optimizing trading workflows, and implementing high-performance data solutions for Capital Markets.

Location: Must be based in Atlanta, Georgia (Hybrid: minimum 4 days per week in office)

What you will do

• Design and develop software applications to improve investment decisions and simplify the global trade life cycle.
• Build scalable, cloud-native solutions as part of the Systematic Trading Technology Team.
• Lead the adoption of AI-driven capabilities, including automation, analytics, and decision support within production systems.
• Collaborate with Traders, Quants, and Business Analysts in an agile development environment.
• Perform hands-on development, including code reviews, test case design, and building SDLC pipelines.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Security teams to implement technology and security best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Architecture, Design, and Development.
• Expertise in Snowflake and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server or Oracle, including normalization, views, UDFs, and stored procedures.
• Working knowledge of Python and AWS.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with CRD or Portware applications.
• Background in Investments/Asset Management (Equities, Fixed Income, Alternatives).
• Knowledge of cloud engineering and cloud-native architecture.
