Focus on establishing data-driven renewal playbooks, managing the full renewal lifecycle, and developing a high-performing team to drive retention and expansion.

Location: Must be based in the USA

Compensation: $160,000 – $185,000 + Equity

What you will do

  • Manage the full renewal lifecycle, including outreach, risk triage, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Build the renewals playbook from scratch, defining engagement models, escalation frameworks, and KPI structures.
  • Lead high-stakes commercial negotiations with executive-level stakeholders at accounting and advisory firms.
  • Develop data-driven renewal strategies based on customer health, usage trends, and stakeholder dynamics.
  • Partner with Finance and CS leadership to establish reporting cadences and ARR forecasting.
  • Hire and develop a team of Renewals Specialists as the function scales.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the USA
  • 7+ years of experience in SaaS renewals, customer success, or commercial account management.
  • Proven track record of personally owning and hitting GRR/NRR targets.
  • Experience building a renewals function or motion from scratch.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills with experience leading executive-level conversations.
  • Analytical fluency in building renewal forecasts and presenting cohort-level retention performance.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, specifically HubSpot or Salesforce.

Nice to have

  • Background in audit, accounting, or professional services.
  • Experience in AI-native SaaS or with AI workflow tools.
  • Experience scaling a renewals function through a Series B or C inflection point.
