TL;DR

Enterprise Customer Success Manager (GovTech): Managing a large portfolio of enterprise government agency customers to drive product adoption, ensure value realization, and foster long-term loyalty. Focus on developing multi-year strategic account plans, leveraging AI tools for engagement, and maintaining executive-level relationships to ensure retention and growth.

Location: Must be based in the US (Remote/Hybrid with regular travel to customer sites).

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 per year plus annual bonus.

What you will do

  • Manage a large portfolio of enterprise government agency customers, delivering high-touch strategic guidance.
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with CXO-level stakeholders.
  • Develop 3-5 year strategic agency plans aligned with product roadmaps and long-term goals.
  • Own renewal health, forecast risks, and drive retention through consistent value attainment.
  • Partner with Sales to identify and advance upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Identify AI use cases within customer workflows and track feature adoption as a key engagement signal.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Success or Account Management, with 2+ years in an enterprise capacity.
  • Experience in Gov Tech or the public sector is required.
  • Deep expertise in Gainsight, including health scores, playbooks, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to develop enterprise-level customer success strategies and multi-year plans.
  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills for executive-level storytelling.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly for on-site customer engagement.

  • Knowledge of the hirify.global Civic Platform.
  • Experience with OKR frameworks and customer advisory boards.
  • Understanding of the competitive landscape in Gov Tech.
  • Experience mentoring or providing informal leadership to teammates.
