TL;DR

eDiscovery Technical Advisor: Supporting civil and criminal litigation through the identification, preservation, and production of ESI with an accent on technical expertise in eDiscovery platforms like Relativity and Veritas. Focus on developing discovery plans, managing legal holds, and providing technical assistance to government legal teams.

Location: Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance. Role is based in New York or Albany with remote/hybrid flexibility.

Salary: $137,200–$186,200 per year

What you will do

  • Identify, preserve, collect, and process ESI for civil and criminal litigation and government inquiries.
  • Serve as an expert user of eDiscovery applications including Veritas eDiscovery Platform and Legal Hold Management Tool.
  • Collaborate with litigation teams to document discovery plans, search parameters, and custodians.
  • Administer data inputs into review platforms, including de-duplication, data merging, and quality assurance.
  • Provide technical training and ad hoc support to agency attorneys and paralegals.
  • Facilitate legal hold implementation and amendments within the management system.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • 5 years of eDiscovery or litigation support experience.
  • 3 years of progressive experience on major litigation support projects.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience with Relativity beyond document review.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience (JD highly preferred).
