What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for external clients' electronic trading applications from request to production.
• Test and certify client connections via FIX protocol, ensuring compliance with industry and firm standards.
• Coordinate deliverable dependencies across business, operations, and various platform development teams.
• Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity, including TCP/IP, Firewalls, and VPNs.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for FIX-related inquiries for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive documentation and streamline onboarding tools and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2-4 years of professional experience in a technical role.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and the complete electronic order lifecycle.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, Java, C++, or SQL).
• Experience operating in a UNIX/Linux environment.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, Firewalls, and VPN.

Nice to have

• Demonstrated experience with FIX protocol and certification processes.
• Solid understanding of multiple asset classes (Equities, Futures, Options, FX).
• Experience in technical project management or leading technical initiatives.
• Prior experience in a client-facing technical role within financial services.
