What you will do

• Configure and provision systems and network infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage bare-metal and containerized applications.
• Maintain large-scale storage clusters and ensure data availability.
• Instrument performance monitoring, alerting, and system automation.
• Provide on-call support and coordinate bulk data delivery to partners.
• Perform occasional physical infrastructure provisioning at data centers.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong Linux proficiency and experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
• Understanding of storage concepts including RAID, LVM, and distributed filesystems.
• Basic networking knowledge covering OSI model and IP protocols.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
• 2+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure roles.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed storage systems like Ceph.
• Background in trading or fintech environments.
• Knowledge of database administration (MySQL, ClickHouse, Redis).
• Familiarity with virtualization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to travel to data centers in New Jersey or Boston on short notice.
