TL;DR

Linux & Network System Administrator (Infrastructure): Managing and troubleshooting mission-critical Linux environments and network layers for the CallThru platform with an accent on system performance, connectivity diagnostics, and database integration support. Focus on owning technical investigations end-to-end, resolving complex infrastructure issues, and maintaining high availability in a production-critical environment.

Location: Must be based in Cle Elum, WA (Onsite - 5 days)

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 USD

What you will do

  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) using command-line tools.
  • Diagnose network-layer issues including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and SSH configurations.
  • Analyze system performance and connectivity using tools like tcpdump, Wireshark, and netstat.
  • Support CallThru platform operations by investigating infrastructure-level issues across telephony and database layers.
  • Execute SQL queries to troubleshoot integrations and support data flows.
  • Own technical investigations from triage through root cause analysis and documentation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Linux systems administration or infrastructure support.
  • Must be based in Cle Elum, WA and able to work onsite 5 days per week.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Linux and command-line tools.
  • Solid working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, SSH).
  • Working knowledge of SQL for query troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical investigations end-to-end in a production environment.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to VoIP, SIP, telephony systems, or Asterisk.
  • Experience with Ansible, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Prior experience in customer-facing or help desk support.
