CNC Programmer (Aerospace)

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 Annually

What you will do

• Develop and optimize CNC milling processes for new and legacy aerospace components.
• Create detailed CNC programs, operation sequences, and manufacturing instructions.
• Troubleshoot shop floor issues related to tooling, gauging, and workholding.
• Review engineering drawings for manufacturability and recommend design improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production problems and enhance efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Proficiency in CNC mill machining and 3+ years of CNC programming experience using CAD/CAM software.
• Hands-on experience with machine setup and operation.
• Technical degree (Bachelor's or Associate's) or equivalent professional experience (3-8 years depending on education).
• Ability to work onsite in Buffalo, NY.

Nice to have

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with Siemens NX.
• Background in aerospace manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience machining stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum.
