What you will do

• Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans for HDD Preamplifier and associated blocks.
• Perform root cause analysis of design issues in collaboration with designers to drive closures.
• Operate standard test equipment, including oscilloscopes, waveform generators, and network analyzers.
• Write, review, and maintain software in C/C++ and Python to automate bench testing.
• Generate professional validation reports and comparative performance analyses of Preamp devices.
• Identify potential design weaknesses and bugs prior to tape-out.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (7-10 years experience) or Master's/PhD (5-8 years experience).
• Proficiency in silicon validation of mixed signal, analog, and digital ICs and blocks.
• Solid software development skills in C, C++, and Python.
• Expertise in handling test equipment like oscilloscopes and network analyzers.
• Deep understanding of analog functional blocks, such as amplifiers, current mirrors, and comparators.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).
