TL;DR

Software Developer (Provisioning): Building and maintaining a self-serve infrastructure platform to enable rapid, safe deployment of AWS and Kubernetes environments with an accent on infrastructure-as-code abstractions and automation. Focus on designing clean Kubernetes-native abstractions, scaling delivery pipelines, and eliminating infrastructure bottlenecks to accelerate engineering productivity.

Location: Must be based in Toronto, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring in-person attendance at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $136,000 – $160,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain a self-serve provisioning platform for AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.
  • Build high-level infrastructure abstractions using Go and Python to reduce operational toil.
  • Construct and optimize delivery planes using Terragrunt, ArgoCD, and AWS CodePipeline.
  • Collaborate with Networking, Compute, and Security teams to embed automated defaults into workflows.
  • Scale infrastructure tools to support internal engineering teams across the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience building and scaling infrastructure tools within AWS environments, specifically EKS, VPCs, and subnets.
  • Proficiency in software development using Go or Python.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes-native architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Terragrunt.
  • Experience with GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.
  • Must be able to work from the Toronto office at least 3 days per week.
