What you will do

• Own the vision, roadmap, and technical execution for a broad functional area within the developer platform.
• Design and develop capabilities leveraging cloud-native components like Kubernetes, Backstage, and Terraform.
• Set technical priorities and scope tasks for team members to drive project objectives.
• Establish best practices for code health, monitoring, and reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system architecture and complex integrations.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering using Go, Python, or C++.
• Proven experience with cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and tools like Kubernetes, ArgoCD, or Backstage.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Excellent communication skills for requirement gathering and system documentation.
