TL;DR

Senior Counsel (Insurance Defense): Managing high-exposure litigation cases and leading trial strategy with an accent on courtroom advocacy, deposition preparation, and complex legal defense. Focus on mentoring junior attorneys, cultivating client relationships, and delivering exceptional results in insurance defense matters.

Location: Must be licensed in the State of Arizona. Flexible work model: Remote, hybrid, or onsite options available within the US.

Salary: $135,000 - $190,000 USD annually, plus performance bonuses.

What you will do

  • Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
  • Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies.
  • Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and future clients.
  • Collaborate with team members across all levels of experience.
  • Manage full case handling responsibilities from discovery through trial.

Requirements

  • Active bar license in the State of Arizona is required.
  • JD from an ABA-approved law school.
  • 8+ years of solid litigation experience, including trial preparation.
  • Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
