What you will do

• Complete planned and unplanned calibrations of electronic M&TE with minimal supervision, including troubleshooting, disassembly, and repairs after breakdowns or malfunctions.
• Interpret drawings, calibration procedures, hirify.global specifications, manufacturer instructions, and applicable Military Specifications; perform fault isolation to the lowest possible component level.
• Support calibration needs across departments by working with assembly, manufacturing, model shop supervision, operators, and engineering personnel.
• Coordinate vendor calibration activities: review vendor certifications, process returned equipment, support on-site vendor calibrations, and maintain lab standards with contracted services.
• Update calibration procedures and data sheets; participate in capability studies with Test Equipment Engineers and Product Engineers.
• Maintain calibration records and traceability to National Bureau of Standards; support audits and corrective actions, and participate in continuous improvement/lean initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent technical training in a relevant field plus 3+ years of experience in electrical calibration, assembly, repair, and/or maintenance; or High School diploma/GED with demonstrated ability and 7+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency using precision electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical measuring equipment and standards to calibrate and support repair of electronic components and complex test stands/systems.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions/training in English; basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Strong planning and organization skills plus interpersonal skills to perform calibrations/repairs and resolve or escalate issues for timely return to service.
• Ability to work with calibration documentation and requirements, including Military Specifications, and to perform fault isolation diagnosis in a logical sequence.
