TL;DR
ASIC Security Architect (Platform Security): Defining the architectural framework for data center switch ASICs and SoC products with an accent on platform security, Silicon Root-of-Trust, and trusted computing. Focus on designing end-to-end hardware architecture, evaluating power-performance-area trade-offs, and developing security capabilities for AI infrastructure.
Location: Santa Clara, CA. Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. law.
Salary: $191,530 – $286,900 per annum

What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end hardware architecture for SoC products throughout their full lifecycle.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development to identify high-value customer use cases.
- Partner with Design, Verification, and Software teams to define Soft/Hardware co-designs.
- Perform detailed performance analyses and evaluate power-performance-area (PPA) trade-offs.
- Author detailed architecture specifications and define robust validation plans.
- Represent the company in industry workgroups (TCG, OCP, DMTF, Caliptra, etc.) and file patents for novel technologies.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience with a Master’s or 10+ years with a PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Expertise in ASIC security, including root-of-trust, TEE, data encryption, and access control.
- Proven track record of delivering ASIC product architectures and comprehensive documentation.
- Strong ability to guide design and verification teams through implementation.
- Eligibility to access export-controlled information (EAR) as defined by U.S. law.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of industry-standard interconnect protocols such as PCIe, CXL, UALink, and Ethernet.
- Extensive experience in ARM CPU subsystem architecture, including memory and cache subsystems.
