What you will do

  • Develop benefit design and renewal strategies and drive solutions for complex client issues.
  • Partner with account management/client service teams on pre-renewal planning, RFP distribution, SPRs, open enrollment strategy, and post-renewal analysis.
  • Own service scope, timelines, and renewal updates; maintain accountability for revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects.
  • Monitor project success across scope, budget, timeliness, and client satisfaction; support onboarding of new clients with implementation plans and timelines.
  • Grow the book of business through cross-selling and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance knowledge for employer-sponsored health and welfare plans and maintain accurate client data in CRM.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of benefits consulting experience.
  • Ability to influence and effectively interact with members of the C-suite.
  • Practical knowledge of quoting process and tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with database applications.
  • Valid life and health insurance license.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
