Compensation: $63,500–$87,900

What you will do

• Review construction blueprints and plans to ensure compliance with energy standards.
• Perform energy modeling using industry-standard software like REM-Rate or EKOTROPE.
• Conduct field inspections and diagnostic testing, including blower door and duct blaster tests.
• Prepare and submit documentation for code compliance, green certification, and rebate eligibility.
• Communicate technical energy efficiency concepts to contractors and project teams.
• Initiate outreach to potential clients to ensure program enrollment goals are achieved.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to travel throughout Rhode Island for site visits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent field experience).
• Experience in residential construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
