What you will do

• Develop and execute strategies for proprietary and society-owned journals to drive growth and launch new titles.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external academic societies in China and internationally to develop journal scopes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, authors, and editorial boards to ensure high-quality manuscript flow.
• Monitor quality control and oversee day-to-day editorial, production, and publishing operations.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative journal solutions and meet portfolio objectives.
• Establish networks with key stakeholders to identify market needs and business opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong educational background and minimum 3 years of experience in academic publishing.
• Excellent English proficiency, both written and oral.
• Experience working within an academic or research environment.
• Proven ability to engage and influence cross-functional and external teams.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with an interest in online developments and new technologies.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work as a self-starter.
