What you will do

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and innovative data architectures.
• Provide strategic leadership to align enterprise objectives with technical execution across business and engineering teams.
• Design and implement scalable metadata integration strategies and automated ingestion workflows.
• Lead the deployment of responsible and ethical AI solutions in partnership with Legal, Privacy, and Cybersecurity teams.
• Champion data observability frameworks to ensure health, accountability, and operational resilience.
• Mentor delivery teams and lead architecture review sessions to ensure design consistency and best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or solution design, preferably in financial services.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as an AWS Solutions Architect or Senior Cloud Engineer.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data platforms like Snowflake and SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Python, or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and IT compliance/risk management (GDPR, security).
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with 4 days per week in the Houston office.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or Agile.
• Experience with Data Governance and Data Quality capability implementation.
• MBA or equivalent advanced professional experience.
