What you will do

• Own and evolve end-to-end automation strategy across UI, API, integrations, performance, and security testing.
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright, integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted testing, including LLM-driven test generation, optimization, and defect detection.
• Define and standardize quality engineering practices across teams, including BDD and TDD approaches.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to influence system design for testability and scalability.
• Establish quality metrics, reporting, and dashboards; mentor engineers and SDETs to raise automation architecture and quality standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software test automation or quality engineering, including ownership of automation architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with browser automation (e.g., Selenium WebDriver or similar).
• Proven experience designing automation strategies across UI, API, and backend systems.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with BDD frameworks and collaboration with teams practicing TDD.
• Ability to work remotely within Canada with availability overlapping Eastern Time hours.
