What you will do

• Handle and lead first party energy claims, including upstream, midstream, downstream, and renewables.
• Manage construction and political violence claims in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyze claims data and trends to enhance underwriting capabilities and portfolio profitability.
• Collaborate with underwriters on policy language development and contract wordings.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the claims team to achieve team objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers, insureds, and external service providers.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience leading a portfolio of energy, construction, or political violence claims.
• Required background and knowledge in first party energy claims.
• ACII accreditation or currently working towards this qualification.
• Ability to interpret complex data to provide insights for underwriting.
• Must be based in or able to work from London, UK.
