Mechanical Intern (Keyboard)

TL;DR

Mechanical Intern (Keyboard): Supporting R&D teams in the design, prototyping, and testing of gaming-related hardware with an accent on mechanical parameter analysis and user testing. Focus on building functional prototypes and validating mechanical performance through rigorous measurement and testing procedures.

Location: Must be based in Hsinchu, Taiwan

What you will do

• Review and analyze current market product mechanism designs and parameters.
• Develop mechanical and electrical prototypes to validate design goals.
• Utilize measurement and testing equipment for force and drop testing.
• Organize and conduct user testing and qualification sessions.
• Summarize findings and deliver a fully functional prototype by the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a graduate or 3rd-year undergraduate program in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Basic understanding of motors, motor control, position sensing, and load cells.
• Strong interest in simulation racing and gaming technology.
• English communication skills (written and verbal) required.
• Ability to commit to the internship period from July 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pro-E Creo.
• Knowledge of prototyping, materials, tooling, and molding.
• Passion for ERacing (ACC, GT7).
