What you will do

• Lead system-level reliability and safety analyses for complex aerospace hardware.
• Develop and execute reliability predictions and advanced analytical models to support availability guarantees.
• Perform comprehensive safety assessments including FMECA, FTA, and System Safety Hazard Analysis.
• Define and recommend reliability test strategies to ensure cost-effective and meaningful qualification results.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers within the reliability organization.
• Engage with customers and certification authorities to present methodologies and program risk positions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in a Reliability Engineering role supporting safety-critical systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in system-level reliability and safety analysis.
• Strong understanding of reliability modeling, prediction methodologies, and statistical forecasting.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical decisions with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills for presenting complex analyses to diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated safety-critical industries.
• Familiarity with reliability growth, warranty modeling, and availability-based contractual requirements.
• Background in supporting proposal development and customer negotiations.
• Experience influencing program decisions involving commercial or financial risk.
