What you will do

• Develop and execute a comprehensive regional government engagement strategy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government leaders and key influencers in the Western region.
• Engage and advise the executive team on critical government relations efforts and policy decisions.
• Manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously with a process-oriented approach.
• Represent the company externally in state capitals across Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington.

Requirements

• Must live in the Western Region of the United States.
• 7-10 years of experience in government or government relations, preferably at the state or local level.
• Proven experience working in a large, growing public company within a regulated industry.
• Ability to quickly learn new issue areas and create effective public affairs strategies.
• Experience providing strategic support and counsel to C-level executives.
• Flexibility to travel as required for the role.
