What you will do

• Design and build AI-powered product experiences using TypeScript, React, and LLM provider APIs.
• Develop the agentic tool runtime that enables the hirify.globalAI Operator to perform actions on behalf of users.
• Build integrations between the Operator, core product surfaces, and third-party AI model providers.
• Improve the reliability, observability, and safety of LLM-backed systems, including streaming responses and error handling.
• Lead technical projects from initial goals through implementation, launch, and iteration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams through technical design, code reviews, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of technical impact.
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend development with comfort working across the stack into backend systems.
• Experience building production systems that integrate with AI/ML models, LLM APIs, or complex external services.
• Commitment to reliability, observability, safety, and user trust in AI-powered products.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous problem spaces where technical architecture and model capabilities shape the solution.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to raise the technical bar for the team.

Nice to have

• Experience with prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, or agentic system design.
• Knowledge of real-time systems, streaming protocols, or event-driven architectures.
• Experience building developer platforms, internal frameworks, or reusable product infrastructure.
