Senior Software Engineer II, BrazeAI Operator (AI)

What you will do

• Design and build AI-powered product experiences using TypeScript, React, and LLM provider APIs.
• Develop the agentic tool runtime that enables hirify.globalAI Operator to take actions inside the product.
• Integrate Operator with core hirify.global product surfaces, third-party vendors, and AI model providers including Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, and AWS Bedrock.
• Improve reliability, observability, safety, streaming responses, error handling, evaluation, and rollout controls for LLM-backed systems.
• Lead technical projects from ambiguous goals through implementation, launch, and iteration.
• Collaborate through technical design, code review, and clear engineering practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong record of technical impact.
• Strong modern frontend development skills and comfort working across the stack into backend systems.
• Experience building production systems integrating AI/ML models, LLM APIs, or complex external services.
• Understanding of reliability, observability, safety, and user trust in AI-powered products.
• Ability to work in ambiguous product and technical problem spaces and communicate clearly across teams.

Nice to have

• Prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, or agentic system design experience.
• Experience with real-time systems, streaming protocols, or event-driven architectures.
• Experience building developer platforms, internal frameworks, or reusable product infrastructure.
• Ruby on Rails, accessibility, search, or editor tooling experience.
