Business Modernization Project Manager (ERP)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, New York, United States

Salary: $75,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Plan and deliver assigned ERP modernization projects and workstreams across the Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Hypercare phases.
• Manage project scope, schedules, milestones, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and change control.
• Coordinate business stakeholders, IT teams, system integrators, and third-party partners.
• Prepare project status reports, forecasts, RAID logs, and governance updates.
• Support testing, defect resolution, cutover planning, go-live readiness, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live stabilization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of project management experience supporting implementations or major modernization initiatives.
• Experience managing ERP projects or significant ERP workstreams across multiple implementation phases.
• Understanding of ERP implementation lifecycles and structured delivery methods such as SAP Activate.
• Experience managing complex schedules, scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and internal and external delivery teams.
• Proficiency with project management and reporting tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar.
