Sr. Solutions Architect, Security

Location: Remote in Tokyo, Japan; preferred location is near Tokyo

What you will do

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and validate security products for ERP implementations.
• Research security vulnerabilities, underlying weaknesses, emerging threats, and appropriate mitigations.
• Design and implement security controls, hardening configurations, rules, and signatures.
• Conduct security assessments across SAP, Oracle EBS, WebLogic, WebSphere, database, application, and network environments.
• Support onboarding projects, improve repeatable project plans, and provide post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with global teams, security product providers, and research and development teams on testing, implementation strategies, and product enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Security certification such as CISA, CEH, CISSP, or CRISC, or active work toward certification.
• 10+ years of relevant experience with IT procedures, security policies, and data center operations.
• 5+ years of experience implementing and troubleshooting security products, including WebLogic/WebSphere technologies, high availability, and clusters.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases, SAP technology stacks, operating systems, enterprise security controls, vulnerability remediation, and penetration testing.
• Proficient Japanese and understanding of Japanese culture are required to support the APAC business.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, EBS, or JDE ERP applications.
• Experience securing AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud environments.
• Experience with managed or professional services, contractual SLAs, and consulting.
• Knowledge of virtual patching, cloud security, encryption, and identity management.
• Ethical hacking experience.
