Sr. Security Advisor - Threat Exposure Management (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fully remote and located in Toronto, Canada; travel around 25% or as needed.

Salary: $134,000–$180,000 annual, with potential eligibility for a variable incentive-based bonus plan.

What you will do

• Advise clients and design scalable security solutions focused primarily on Threat Exposure Management.
• Partner with account teams to support revenue objectives, qualify opportunities, and manage cross-sell and upsell activities.
• Assess client environments, security needs, risk appetite, and business goals to define security strategies and roadmaps.
• Lead requirements gathering, technology selection, demonstrations, evaluations, proposals, contracts, and RFI/RFP responses.
• Develop executive-level presentations, facilitate thought leadership, and maintain advisory relationships with client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with service delivery teams and technology partners to align expectations and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

• At least five years of information security experience focused on Threat Management, preferably in consulting, advisory, architecture, or engineering.
• Expertise in application security tools, vulnerability management, threat management or hunting, enterprise incident management, forensics or eDiscovery, threat intelligence platforms, and asset management.
• Strong business and technical acumen, knowledge of current threats and defensive controls, and the ability to lead technology-focused discussions.
• Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, including whiteboard sessions and executive-level presentations.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent applicable experience; relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, or GIAC are preferred.
• Must be able to hold a government-sponsored Secret Clearance.

Nice to have

• Vendor-specific certification focused on the relevant specialty.
• Experience speaking at events and evangelizing technology vision.
• Additional expertise in data protection and AI, cloud security and DevSecOps, endpoint security, identity, network security, SOC, SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, or threat intelligence.
