Salary: $115,700 – $154,300 CAD per annum

What you will do

• Design complex multilayer PCB layouts for RF front-end circuits and high-speed SERDES interfaces.
• Collaborate with hardware, signal integrity, power integrity, and mechanical engineering teams.
• Perform constraint-driven layout using industry-standard CAD tools.
• Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC requirements and thermal constraints.
• Work with vendors on DFM and DFA to ensure high-quality fabrication and assembly.
• Generate and release comprehensive fabrication and assembly documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in PCB layout, specifically with RF/GHz frequencies.
• Deep expertise in controlled impedance, differential pair routing, and crosstalk mitigation.
• Proficiency in Cadence Allegro or Altium Designer.
• Experience with multilayer stack-up design (10+ layers).
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SI/PI fundamentals and high-frequency PCB materials.
• Experience with HDI designs and microvias.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation for layout workflows.
• Familiarity with co-design environments for electrical and mechanical integration.
