What you will do

• Develop and execute portfolio strategies in collaboration with external editorial teams and society partners.
• Manage contractual relationships with journal editors and learned societies to ensure high-quality manuscript flow.
• Identify and map market needs to drive business development and acquire new products or services.
• Maintain and optimize the existing journal portfolio to meet growth, market share, and satisfaction objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with production, marketing, and technology teams.
• Manage editorial fee budgets and contribute to pricing processes.

Requirements

• University degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in journal publishing or relevant industry/postdoctoral roles.
• Fluent English proficiency is essential.
• Strong networking, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Experience in data gathering, interpretation, and presentation.
