What you will do

• Design and develop advanced materials including metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites.
• Define and execute material characterization plans using techniques like DSC, TGA, FTIR, and SEM.
• Lead the optimization of compounding processes to ensure consistent material performance.
• Translate lab-scale formulations into scalable and manufacturable industrial processes.
• Analyze failure modes and performance limitations to drive continuous material improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, procurement, and product teams to industrialize new materials.

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or Semiconductors preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in materials research and development.
• 3+ years of experience in Circuit Protection.
• Fluent English proficiency (writing, reading, and conversational).
• Expertise in Design of Experiments (DoE).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-focused environment.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling materials from R&D to initial manufacturing phases.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process capability development.
