Technology Resiliency Specialist

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule at 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, then at 3 Robert Speck Parkway in Mississauga. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: CAD 105,000–129,000 annual base salary, plus a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Design and enhance technology recovery solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Align recovery capabilities with RTO/RPO objectives and eliminate single points of failure.
• Support isolated recovery environments, including data integrity and security controls.
• Develop runbooks, execute disaster recovery during incidents and tests, and validate outcomes.
• Coordinate recovery strategies and dependencies across infrastructure, cyber, architecture, application, and vendor teams.
• Maintain documentation, support audits, identify resilience gaps, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with disaster recovery, backup, recovery technologies, replication, and failover strategies.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and hybrid environments across compute, storage, and network domains.
• Strong problem-solving, systems-thinking, coordination, and technical dependency management skills.
• Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Nice to have

• Cloud, infrastructure, disaster recovery, business continuity, or ITIL certifications.
• Experience with isolated recovery environments, cyber recovery vaults, ransomware recovery, or cyber resilience.
• Financial services or regulated-environment experience.
• Automation, PowerShell, Python, DevOps, platform engineering, or modern infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Cohesity platforms.
