TL;DR
Technology Resiliency Specialist (Disaster Recovery/Resilience): Design, coordinate, and execute ’s technology resilience capabilities, including disaster recovery, cyber recovery, and the Isolated Recovery Environment (IRE), with an accent on secure recovery orchestration and meeting defined RTO/RPO objectives. Focus on building and testing recovery solutions across cloud and on-prem environments, validating outcomes during incidents (including cyber/ransomware scenarios), and driving continuous improvement through governance and audits.
Location: Toronto Office (483 Bay Street, Toronto) until approximately late 2026; then Mississauga office (3 Robert Speck Parkway). Flexible hybrid schedule.
Salary: 105,000 to 129,000 (annual base salary range)

What you will do
- Design and enhance recovery solutions across cloud and on-prem environments, aligning with RTO/RPO and eliminating single points of failure.
- Support and optimize isolated recovery environments (IRE) to ensure data integrity and security.
- Develop and maintain runbooks and recovery procedures; execute and validate recovery during incidents and testing, including cyber/ransomware scenarios.
- Work with vendors to validate recovery solutions and optimize performance; coordinate dependencies with infrastructure, cyber, and application teams.
- Maintain recovery documentation, support audits, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvements to resilience and recovery capabilities.
Requirements
- Work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with disaster recovery, backup, and recovery technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Solid understanding of RTO/RPO, replication, and failover strategies.
- Ability to coordinate across teams and manage complex technical dependencies.
