Lead Product Software Engineer | Backend-Focused Full Stack | Node.js | Azure | SQL | AI

Location: USA - Coppell, Texas; applicants may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office during the hiring process.

Salary: $116,400.00–$204,100.00 USD annually, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software for mission-critical applications.
• Build cloud-native, multi-tier SaaS applications with web, plugin-based, and mobile clients.
• Develop autonomous agent workflows, NLP capabilities for interpreting IRS regulations, and intelligent data ingestion tools.
• Define technical frameworks, development standards, and best practices for an Agile team.
• Diagnose complex issues, improve system scalability, and deliver reliable 24/7/365 applications.
• Coach and mentor engineers while collaborating with product stakeholders, QA, UX/UI, frontend, and business analysis teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience in software development.
• 8+ years of programming experience, including at least 3 years as a senior software engineer or technical lead.
• Experience with React, Angular, Node.js, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, Express, WebAPI, web services, and responsive design; React experience is required.
• 5+ years building high-traffic public-facing web applications and 3+ years developing single-page applications.
• 3+ years building and supporting cloud-native SaaS applications using Azure SQL as the primary relational data store.
• Experience with agentic AI tools, Azure PaaS/SaaS technologies, high-availability multi-region systems, DDD/OOD, SOLID, TDD/BDD, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
