Software Engineer, Product (Fullstack)

Location: San Francisco, CA or remote within the United States

Base salary: $220,000–$265,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own customer-facing product surfaces from problem definition and design through implementation, launch, measurement, and maintenance.
• Improve video editor workflows, self-serve growth and monetization journeys, media management, and the Underlord AI co-editor.
• Design and build reliable full-stack systems using TypeScript, React, Node.js, Temporal, integrations, and related technologies.
• Partner with Product and Design to shape interactions, simplify complexity, define constraints, and select meaningful metrics.
• Run experiments, instrument features, release incrementally, and use analytics to evaluate outcomes.
• Provide architectural direction, conduct thoughtful reviews, mentor engineers, and improve testing, observability, and release practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping customer-facing products.
• Experience owning end-to-end features or experiments and measuring their impact on users or business outcomes.
• Ability to use AI agents effectively, explore unfamiliar systems, and ask thoughtful questions.
• Strong product judgment, attention to user experience, and ability to simplify ambiguous technical and product complexity.
• Rigorous approach to validation using reproductions, logs, tests, and other evidence.

Nice to have

• Experience with editors, media products, creative tools, or payment systems.
• Experience with TypeScript, HTML/CSS, React, Redux, Node.js, API design, Temporal Workflows, and SQL.
• Experience building agents, experimenting with media-generation models, or applying product analytics and experimentation.
• Knowledge of shaders, graphics rendering, audio and visual effects, or media formats.
• Experience with Rust or media-engine development.
