What you will do

• Lead design concepts and drive new system development using novel engineering approaches.
• Employ digital engineering and MBSE techniques to manage requirements within a digital ecosystem.
• Support system lifecycle development, including architecture, simulation, and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing.
• Engage with customers and cross-functional teams to manage requirements for strategic sensors and navigation systems.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies for complex system-level challenges.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and provide constructive technical feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics required; Master's degree preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on requirements engineering.
• Existing DoD security clearance is required; must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
• Practical experience with systems engineering processes and digital engineering tools.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a system-level perspective.
• Familiarity with SysML, DOORS, or similar engineering analysis tools.
