TL;DR

What you will do

  • Provide expert advice on Certification processes, requirements, and categorization.
  • Manage and maintain Responsibilities Maps (MRMs) for all UK regulated entities.
  • Support regulatory applications by reviewing competency maps and induction plans.
  • Coordinate SMCR Governance Forum activities and maintain regulatory breach trackers.
  • Act as a superuser for SMCR systems, identifying issues and liaising with providers.
  • Deliver ad hoc training on SMCR and conduct rules to business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of the Senior Managers Certification Regime (SMCR) and FCA/PRA rulebooks.
  • Previous experience in regulation, risk, controls, or a governance role.
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory rules into actionable compliance advice.
  • Experience with HR or Compliance systems and MI reporting.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to create professional documentation.
  • Background in HR, Governance, or Compliance.
