Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 (plus commission up to $65,000)

What you will do

• Own the full RFP lifecycle including intake, triage, bid/no-bid recommendations, and on-time submission.
• Architect and operate a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipeline to automate and improve proposal drafting.
• Curate and maintain a high-quality answer corpus, implementing continuous writeback from reviewed submissions.
• Coordinate contributions from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across Product, Services, and Engineering.
• Translate technical product capabilities into clear, buyer-focused language aligned with utility sector priorities.
• Monitor proposal quality metrics and optimize the workflow based on win/loss patterns.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing RFP or bid responses in a B2B software or technology environment.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as LLMs, prompt engineering, or RAG systems to improve knowledge work.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to produce persuasive and clear proposal prose.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent deadlines autonomously.
• Legally eligible to travel internationally (Canada, US, Caribbean) and hold a valid passport.

Nice to have

• Experience in the utility software sector (CIS, ERP, AMI, MDM) or adjacent regulated industries.
• Familiarity with vector search, BM25 hybrid retrieval, or RAG concepts.
• Experience with proposal automation tools like RFPIO, Loopio, or Responsive.
• Proficiency with Power Automate and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
